hi there!! I'm so happy you're here. let me tell you a little about myself.
my name is Hanna, but I'm guessing you've figured that out by now. I'm a 23-year-old Houston transplant, but I was born and raised in a little town called Lufkin, Texas. my graduating class had just over 100 people. I was a total nerd back then and still am to this day, just with a smidge more confidence. I've known since I was little that a typical 9-to-5 was never going to work for me. I thought I was destined to be a great actress/singer/model/bestselling author. ha! but what I did know was that I was put on this Earth to create and to love people. and that's exactly what I intend to do. I used to think that my photography interest started when I was a freshman in high school, snapping iPhone pictures of any flower or leaf or tree that caught my eye. But looking back, I've been obsessed with cameras and capturing anything I deemed beautiful for as long as I can remember.
aside from photography, my great loves are food, coffee, books, and babies. I'm the type who gets mad when we eat at a chain restaurant on vacation. I will literally spend hours on Yelp figuring out where the coolest and most interesting coffee shops, cafes, taquerias, and local diners can be found. my favorite color is lavender. not purple, lavender. I am unapologetically feminine. I love Starbucks, flowers, dresses, makeup, and chick flicks. I'm a people person, but I'm definitely a girl's girl.
what I love most about being a photographer is the significance that a single second, suspended in time, can hold. I can show people how beautiful they are. I can freeze a moment that might otherwise be forgotten. I can preserve the sweetness of teeny tiny toes and cherubic dimples that will turn into a stomping feet and a moody scowl in the blink of an eye. with the snap of my camera, I can give you something you'll get to show your grandbabies some day, and I think that's some kind of wonderful.
